Freedom Boat Club Opens its First Norris Lake Location and its 11th Location in Tennessee
ANDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – July 17, 2023 – Freedom Boat Club, the world’s largest boat club, today announced the opening of its first location on Norris Lake. This opening represents the fifth location in East Tennessee and the 11th location across the state. Located in Anderson County at Sequoyah Marina, the new location will provide direct access to East Tennessee waterways.

With nearly 400 locations globally, Freedom provides its members access to the top boating destinations in the world. The Club handles the purchase of the boats, storage, maintenance, insurance, cleaning and fueling of the boat prior to each outing, so members can enjoy the best of boating. Most recently, the Company opened its Fox Road Marina location in March 2023, representing their fifth location in the Knoxville area.
Lawrence, a Maryville native, is especially honored to be a part of the opening of the Freedom Boat Club at Sequoyah Marina. “It’s come full circle for me. My family has always been on the water, and I remember first experiencing my first marina, Sequoyah Marina, at 12 years old. Since then, I have only ever worked on the water. This year marks the 11th year for me in the marine industry, and Sequoyah Marina is the 11th location we have opened in the state.”
